The Waldhausen Scandic Multi-Layer outdoor rug is designed for horses that spend time outside every day. With its smart thermal design – 250 g of insulation along the back and 100 g at the sides – it delivers warmth where it’s needed most, without weighing the horse down unnecessarily.

The breathable, antibacterial lining ensures a soft feel and supports healthy skin. The durable 1200 denier ripstop outer fabric is waterproof (3000 mm water column), tough, and perfect for all weather conditions.

For a secure and comfortable fit, the rug features a practical V-front closure with extra Velcro, adjustable cross surcingles, and three belly straps. Foam padding on either side of the withers helps relieve pressure, while reflective piping and a large tail flap with reflective Waldhausen lettering enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

The integrated Stay Clean Inlay keeps the rug clean during fitting. It prevents direct contact between your horse’s coat and the rug, so no more hair or dirt after trying it on. Ideal for fittings at home or in-store. Note: the inlay is designed for short-term use only and is easy to remove.
