Draw reins are an additional rein set that runs from the girth (or saddle), through the bit rings, and back to the rider’s hands. Their purpose is to encourage the horse to carry itself in a correct posture — never to force it. The goal is improved self-carriage while respecting the horse’s natural movement and comfort.
